Day 321 | Clearing Mental Space


Now that the medical drama that was my life is over, I am finally able to concentrate on my fitness goals once again. I feel like my brain has more space in it now, and I can focus on getting the exercise in and on eating right.

I have had a great week so far. I have gone to the boot camp class twice (Monday and Wednesday) despite the fact that I was very sore after Monday’s class.

I have kept my calories in check and have had ~1000 calorie deficits each day. It feels good to be back on track. Losing weight is not easy, and it definitely requires thinking about it each and every day. I’m grateful that although I lost some time, I didn’t take a step back. I didn’t gain any weight during my medical issues, I just didn’t lose any.

I’m excited about how much I can lose in the next few weeks and months. I’m really looking forward to running four or five times a week again. I’m already feeling so much better just from the exercise I’ve been able to do in the last few days.
